J Brubaker a native of Oregon City, Oregon has been drag racing for 20 years. His first race car was a 72 Vega with a V8 engine he built himself. Racing at the High School Drags in Woodburn Oregon he took second place.
Now racing his fiberglass body car in the 10 second range he still races at Woodburn Drag strip and also at Firebird Raceway in Boise, Idaho.
J is backup driver and mechanic for Thunder Mountain Racing's Top Comp Alcohol Dragster. The dragster was #1 qualifier for Division 6 in Woodburn, Oregon 2002 and #2 qualifier for Top Comp Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada 2002.
